Install Server hardware, and operating systems. Test and install operating system patches. Install and support the Network Infrastructure. Define and recommend IS objectives for the Operations and Systems section. Directs development of specific short and long range systems implementations, together with supporting budget requests and financial estimates to obtain the objectives. Develops problem definitions, analyzes symptoms/problems, designs and proposes alternative solutions. Estimates time requirements for systems implementation and presents information to management for decisions. Confers with user representatives when necessary to assist in resolving procedural difficulties, clarifying system responsibilities, objectives and establishing problem definitions. Travels to client sites, as required. MIN REQ - BS or equivalent. + 2 yrs exp (or 5 yrs exp) as Network Administrator. Experience to include min 1 year in PGIAtlas, NetID, VitalNet, Server & Workstation builds.
